The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has developed a smartphone application titled “Rasta” in collaboration with City Traffic Police, Lahore to provide smart solutions to general public’s traffic related problems and queries.

This application will facilitate the citizens in various domains such as applying for license, paying challans, and planning driving routes. The app will also generate timely traffic alerts for citizens to ensure hassle-free driving. “Traffic Updates” another feature will allow the users to gain prior information on the intended traffic routes. With the help of Google Maps traffic updates, the source and destination points will guide users to avoid traffic congestion.

पंजाब सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी बोर्ड (PITB) शहर की यातायात पुलिस, लाहौर के सहयोग से आम जनता के यातायात से संबंधित समस्याओं और प्रश्नों के लिए स्मार्ट समाधान प्रदान करने के लिए "रास्ता" शीर्षक से एक स्मार्टफोन आवेदन विकसित की है।

इस एप्लिकेशन के पास इस तरह के, लाइसेंस के लिए आवेदन करने चालान का भुगतान, और वाहन चालन मार्गों की योजना बना के रूप में विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में नागरिकों को सुविधा होगी। नागरिकों चिंतामुक्त ड्राइविंग सुनिश्चित करने के लिए एप्लिकेशन को भी समय पर यातायात अलर्ट उत्पन्न होगा। "ट्रैफिक अपडेट" एक और सुविधा उपयोगकर्ताओं को अभीष्ट ट्रैफ़िक मार्गों पर पहले जानकारी हासिल करने के लिए अनुमति देगा। गूगल मैप्स ट्रैफ़िक अपडेट की मदद से, स्रोत और गंतव्य अंक यातायात भीड़ से बचने के लिए उन मार्गदर्शन करेंगे।
